What Time Is It?

Arizona is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST), and Hawaii is in the Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Zone (HAST). 
                                       
These two states do not observe daylight-saving time. 
I suppose they have extra Daylight in storage.

In 2007, DST was changed from April to March, and from October to November. I have one old alarm clock that didn't get the memo . . . it was preprogramed, and reminds me of this twice a year!

Maryland - The Old Line State.

The state flag of Maryland was officially adopted in 1904

State motto:  "Manly deeds womanly words" ( Fatti maschil, Parole femine)

  The Maryland State government began when the 9th Provincial Convention adopted the first constitution of Maryland on November 8, 1776.  On April 28, 1788,  Maryland became the seventh state to ratify the federal Constitution.

Florida, The Sunshine State

Florida State Motto - "In God We Trust"

Florida became the twenty-seventh state in the United States on March 3, 1845.
Florida had not adopted an official state motto until June 22, 2006. Governor Jeb Bush signed a House Bill adopting In God We Trust as the official state motto of Florida on July 1, 2006.

Before I leave for  parts unknown, there 2 places I have been before, that I must see again.   I’ll first start at the bottom to see the CATMAN!!  Every time I go to Key West, I  must see the Cats that jump through FIRE! Oh My!

           The State of Ohio celebrates Ohio statehood on March 1. The reason for this is because the Ohio General Assembly met for the first time on this day in 1803.
